Meet Wicket, a scared little Ewok/ kitty, who wandered into a skunk trap. Wicket is used to the outdoor life, and finding life in a shelter to be a big and overwhelming change. Wicket is looking to get back to the barn cat life with a cozy barn or shop for naps, and humans who will make sure he is fed and watered. Wicket is very fearful of humans and just wants a cozy place to hide while he settles in. Because of this, it will be absolutely essential to make sure that he is kept in his new environment for at least 4 weeks before venturing outside. Treats and wet food will also help to ensure that he is coming home.

Another requisite for the right barn cat placement is an adequately heated barn or shop to keep Wicket warm and to prevent frostbite in the winter months. Having access to a litterbox, food and fresh water at all times is also necessary.
