If you're looking for a cat who may need a little extra TLC, look no further than Basal. Basal is a beautiful orange girl who came to us with her kittens and is now ready to leave the mom life behind! Basal is very nervous in new situations and will need a patient, quiet home to thrive. She may growl in fear, but we promise that she's nothing to be scared of! She does NOT like to be picked up, held, or approached too quickly, so a household without young kids is a must. Basal would prefer experienced cat owners who can read body language and give her the space she needs to gain confidence. After just a few weeks in a loving foster home, Basal transformed into an extremely loving cat who adored head boops, snuggling with her people, chasing string toys, and purring herself to sleep. If you have a gentle and understanding home and are willing to wait a little longer for her to come around, Basal will thank you with her endless affection for the rest of her days!
