All about Roscoe
Animal ID: 2000147158

Roscoe is a 6 months old male Siberian Husky/Mix who weighs 17 pounds and has been with us for 75 days.

A little bit about Roscoe :
- Looking for an adult-only home.
- No cats or small animals in the home due to high prey drive
- Unknown history with other dogs; potential for another dog in home pending successful introduction

Meet Roscoe, a young Siberian Husky mix who's had a challenging start to life but is full of potential. Roscoe came to the shelter under poor circumstances, and we suspect he was separated from his mom too young. This, along with the time he's spent at the shelter, has made him a bit of a stressed little guy. He's now looking for a dog-savvy, patient home that can help him learn how to be the best dog he can be through positive reinforcement training.

Roscoe is incredibly people-oriented and craves companionship, so he'll thrive in a home where he can spend lots of time with his humans. However, due to his past experiences and current stress levels, Roscoe would do best in a home without kids or small animals. He needs a calm, structured environment where he can feel safe and gradually learn to trust the world around him.

As a Siberian Husky mix, Roscoe comes with some specific grooming needs. His thick coat will require regular brushing to prevent mats and keep him looking his best. He'll also benefit from regular exercise and mental stimulation, as Huskies are known for their energy and intelligence.

With the right care, patience, and plenty of love, Roscoe is ready to leave his past behind and become a loyal and loving companion. If you're ready to give Roscoe the forever home he deserves, he's waiting to meet you!

Note that many dogs do not reach full size until they are about a year and a half old. The weight listed here is the dog's current weight.
