Zebra finches are highly social and thrive in the company of their own kind, so Egghead would love to find a home with some feathered friends. She was surrendered along with several other finches, and adopting more than one would give her the companionship she craves.

Known for their cheerful "beeps" and lively chatter, zebra finches are sure to fill your home with joy. Due to their small size and their tendency to be more independent, they can be challenging to bond with humans and may not enjoy out-of-cage time. For their safety, finches thrive in a large flight cage with plenty of room to move and explore. They enjoy hopping from perch to perch, so a long cage with multiple levels is ideal.
