Our Signature Events
Signature events are a platform to showcase our work, achievements and amazing supporters. They offer a chance to highlight success stories, ongoing needs, future goals, fostering a deeper connection between attendees and our mission.
Home for the Holidays
The holiday season is a time of love, togetherness, and giving. Each December at Calgary Humane Society we host an annual holiday market, run an extended adoption event and recruit hundreds of new Foster Parents.
Dog Jog
Join us for a 5km walk or jog to end animal cruelty! Hosted early June at North Glenmore Park. Bring your dogs, family & friends, and enjoy an afternoon of fun at the festival. Dog Jog exists to highlight our Animal Protection Enforcement Team, and the amazing work they do in our communities to combat animal cruelty.
Cocktails for Critters
Each fall we host our annual Cocktails for Critters fundraising gala to celebrate the human-animal bond and come together to support vulnerable animals in our community. At this elevated networking event, corporate and independent donors come together in support of animal welfare.

Book our Remote Adoption Vehicle
Our team strives to make adoptions accessible for all. Let us bring an adoption event to you!
Our Remote Adoption Vehicle, otherwise known as the “Rover” is a mini shelter on wheels. It is equipped with built-in kennels, A/C & heating, lighting and more.

Community Workshops
In our Community Workshops, we provide a 45 minute presentation on all the great things Calgary Humane Society has to offer. Learn about our history, protection team, community programs, how you can give back, and much more. During these workshops we will bring an animal ambassador with us who is currently available for adoption.
Community Workshops for businesses require a minimum donation of $150. Community Workshops for nonprofits, social-services organizations, seniors homes, etc. have no cost, though donations are encouraged. During these workshops, we will bring an animal ambassador who is currently available at CHS for adoption.
Animal Visits
Our Community Outreach Team can prepare animal visits for your office, community group or seniors living facility. Animals are selected by our team based on their age, health and behavioural suitability. These visits help socialize our animals, provide companionship, and connect our community to animal welfare.
Visits with puppies or kittens for businesses require a minimum donation of $150. Visits for non-profits, social-services organizations, seniors homes, etc. Have no cost, however donations are encouraged.
Facility Rental
Calgary Humane Society has large event space available for community groups, fundraisers, training classes and other special events. For information on facility rental agreements, please contact our team at community.outreach@calgaryhumane.ca to book today.
