Meet Cuttlefish, a beautiful little barn cat boy looking for a warm place to land. Cuttlefish was found as a stray on a farm and would love to go to a similar property after their surgery! It's very unlikely that Cuttlefish has had much human interaction in their life, if any at all, and is quite fearful here. With the cold, snowy weather, we are hoping to find Cuttlefish a safe, warm, barn or shop environment with plenty of cozy hiding spaces and access to daily fresh food or water. In return for access to food and a comfortable living space, Cuttlefish is ready to help hunt and deter mice and other rodents from the area.

Cats can take several weeks to view a new space as "home" but once they do, barn kitties tend to stick close to home, ensuring you can enjoy each others' company for many years to come. That's why confinement indoors for the first several weeks will be important. Afterwards, you can choose how much of a relationship you'd like to have with your new barn buddy! While barn cats qualify for the program due to their under socialization to people, with time many barn cats will become quite friendly with their humans.

If you have a cozy and warm space to welcome Cuttlefish into, please email our adoptions team today!

Note that many cats do not reach full size until they are about a year and a half old. The weight listed here is the cat's current weight.
