Here to bring forth a new source of love and excitement, meet Zephyr! Zephyr had a rough start to life and is looking for a family that can help him work on confidence! New people and places can be overwhelming for him and he doesn't always know how to respond. He'd thrive with a supportive human that he can trust to keep him safe. When comfortable, Zephyr becomes a bouncy, playful, and affectionate lad! He much prefers to snuggle up to his humans and join you for hikes and adventures! Zephyr is an active boy who will benefit from plenty of exercise as well as calm enrichment like puzzle feeders or chew toys to help him regulate his energy. As a puppy, Zephyr never got to learn about appropriate interactions with other dogs and smaller pets, so we are looking for a home where Zephyr is your one and only! Zephyr has also shown some stress in situations where he needs to be left alone in his crate, so his ideal family would be prepared to work with him on comfort with absences. Although Zephyr has some extra needs to help him thrive, he promises to fill your days with love and keep you endlessly amused with his happy zoomies and games of fetch where he throws AND catches! Come by CHS to meet this boy today!
