Meet the sweet senior who has been described as energetic, snuggly, dorky and super smart! Max can take time to warm up to new people, and feels safer with adults who can greet him calmly and respect his space. Once he trusts you and feels safe, he is happy to cuddle, show off his epic wiggle bum, take you on hikes, and make your friends his friends!

Max is very food motivated and loves mental enrichment, meaning there's so much that you two can learn together! Max has demonstrated stress and discomfort around other animals, so he will best thrive as the only pet in his home. He's still sure to bring more than enough love, with his goofy grin, snuggles and love of tug of war!

Maximus may take some time to trust his new people, but he'll prove that good things come to those who wait. Plus how could you ever say no to a face like his??
