Meet Berta, the social and sweet bun looking for a second chance at life! Brought to the Calgary Humane Society through no fault of her own, Berta has spent the last several months in a foster home, enjoying getting pets and her free roam time to explore and learn more about her surroundings.

Berta thrives best in a bunny-proofed space where she can spend her days exploring and binkying around. She'll need a large, enclosed area with plenty of soft places to rest and hide. Like all rabbits, she requires a diet of unlimited hay, fresh greens, and a measured amount of high-quality pellets.

Berta can be a bit particular about her litterbox habits, but her foster parent said once she found the right mix Berta has been doing very well! Though not a snuggler, Berta will melt into the ground for pets and loves to get some attention before hopping on her way to the next great adventure.
