Get your community involved in group dog walks, pajama days, and so many more fun activities to raise funds for the animals in your community.
Many wonderful events are hosted around Calgary in support of Calgary Humane Society. These small-scale fundraisers are integral to how we can continue our life-saving work here. There is no event that is too small and no idea that is too big! Our goal this year to help you raise $150,000! Birthdays
Make your birthday celebration even more meaningful with Calgary Humane Society. In lieu of presents, you can ask your friends, family, and party guests to contribute to CHS with donations of money or useful supplies.
Weddings
A wedding is the perfect occasion to share some love with animals in need. If you already have the classic wedding gifts, ask you guests to contribute donations to Calgary Humane Society in celebration of your marriage.
Work Events
Fundraising is an excellent team building exercise for your workplace. Whether it’s a special occasion or your team simply feels like making the world a more humane place, fundraising events provide opportunities to learn collaboration and leadership while helping animals in need.

Frequently Asked Questions
For third-party fundraising events, the organizing is your responsibility. However our team is happy to provide support where needed!
Calgary Humane Society is a non-profit organization, we do not have the funds to pay costs associated with third-party events.
On occasion our team may be able to attend your event; however, we have a very busy schedule and can’t guarantee our presence.
Yes. With advance notice staff can provide these materials if they are available.
No. Calgary Humane Society respects the confidentiality of its donors and will not release their contact information.
Within 10 days of the event, send the cheque(s) and off-line donation form to Calgary Humane Society 4455 110 Avenue SE Calgary, AB T2C 2T77.
If so, please submit them to community.outreach@calgaryhumane.ca or call 587-318-7224. Please note it may take 2-3 business days to respond as our team is often offsite.
